Mango Tree Foundation recently partnered with EDUN LIVE, a socially aware clothing company, for the Kennesaw State University ReCycle for Africa Bike Drive. MTF's executive director, Nancy organized the Kennesaw State University ReCycle for Africa Bike Drive and successfully gathered 44 bicycles. After hitting several walls trying to find a group to distribute the bikes, Christine Driscoll at EDUN LIVE offered to help with our efforts. In March, the 44 donated bicycles were sent to Entebbe, Uganda where they were picked up by EDUN LIVE and The Invisible Children for distribution to their cotton farmers and factory workers. The effort was a monumental success.

EDUN Live

EDUN LIVE makes t-shirts that support sustainable socioeconomic development. When you buy a t-shirt from EDUN LIVE you help to employ people in Africa who might otherwise be unemployed. The organization works with disenfranchised African citizens, teaching them to grow cotton, sew, and participate in the textile business. Thus, EDUN LIVE t-shirts are made in Africa by Africans. The T-shirts are 100% certified organic cotton.
